What types of services do you provide?
I provide a custom weight loss service based on your lifestyle. Not a cookie cutter one-size-fits all program. They have their place, but having your own personalized program yeilds better results, to manage and keep your results permanent. -
Do you prefer specific types of diet and nutrition?
Yes. We belive that eating the right ratios of maco nutrients will teach your body to burn more fat at rest and while you workout. We sometimes get into low carbs if progres slows, however low carbs is no lower than 40% of your overall diet. In some cases we will drop the carbs down very low, for competition or when someone is struggling. This is normally temporary -
What makes your program different from other weight loss programs?
We educate you on changing your lifestyle instead of promissing you a fast & easy way of losing weight. Weight control or mamagement is method of learning how to create a better lifestyle. -
How was your program developed?
We have a diet that is exlusive for clients only, The Hybrid Diet is the formula for your weight loss. You can lose up to 10-20 pounds a month. -
What do I need to get started on your program?
You need a 100% commitment to change your lifestyle. -
Once I lose the weight, how do I keep it off?
We will teach you how to keep it off with tracking your food intake and follow up appointments for accountabilty. -
Can I eat carbohydrates?
Sure. Sugar isn't the enemy, our lack of knowledge and our environment dictates our desire to overeat. We have the tools and skills to get you over the hump for good. -
What other types of foods can I eat while using your program?
We have a high protein, low carb and moderate fat diet that we follow. You will eat only healthy fats and lean cuts of meat. There are also supplements that we recommend, but are not required. -
Why do you focus on calories?
The law of thermodynamics has been proven and it never changes, therefore we need have some accountability to what we eat on a regular basis. However, calories counting is not needed with our diet. -
How can I easily keep track of what I eat?
We have online resources and a journal that comes with your program. -
Can I choose my own foods?
We will determine what foods are good for you and in the beginning, you will be on a restricted diet to lower the insulin response, so you have the best chance of burning fat. -
Can I dine out while using your program?
Yes! we will show you what you can and cannot eat. -
Can a vegetarian be on your program?
Sure. A multivitamin might be recommended to get the extra ammino acids needed to maintain the muscle balance. -
Can I drink alcohol while on the program?
Yes! You may have some alchohol, however, remember that your making a commitment to change your lifestyle. How bad do you want the result and to what length are you going go to get it? -
Shouldn't I just eat low-fat products to lose weight?
No. Fat is a nutritne also. Everybody needs a certain amount of fat to maintain hormone levels that aid in fat metabolism. -
Will I go hungry using your program?
You will eat more food that you can handle. We stuff you with food. Food is good. Food can be fun. It is energy for the muscle to burn fat. -
Does your program make room for favorite food cravings?
No. your food cravings are most likely the reason your not losing weight. If you could eat what you wanted, you would gain weight. However, we add in a cheat meal so you can maintain your sanity. -
How much weight can I lose per month on your program?
It depends. Typically you can expect a 2-3% bodyfay loss every 6 weeks. It sounds small, but it is the safest way to lose it and keep it off for good. Most other methods that promise 2-3 lbs a week have a rebound effect. Break the cycle NOW! We recently had a client lose 20 pounds in the first month. -
What type of goals should I set?
We will help with the goals, everybody is different. -
How often do I need to weigh myself while using your program?
1 time a week just to see if you need more or less calories. -
Do I have to go to the gym or exercise several hours per week to lose weight?
Our program gives you the flexability to workout minimal times per week with the intent to get your work done and spend time with family. -
Can I follow the program if I'm pregnant?
Yes. We are certified in excercise and pregnancy and have multiple programs that you can use. There are some limits. -
Can I use your program if I am already taking prescription medicines for weight loss?
Yes. Most times a medical clearance is recommended for such programs. That does not mean that your weight loss program is hopless. -
Can I be on the program if I have high blood pressure or diabetes?
Yes. We have special condidtions for our HPB and blod sugar stabilization guidelines for you to follow. -
What if I have a pre-existing condition that is not listed?
It is best that you give us all of your medical background so that we do not have any complications that may hinder your progress or more importantly, your health! -
What are your qualifications? Have you been professionally trained or certified?
I am certified by ISSA, APEX, and NASM, Metabolic New Leaf Testing Certified, Core Stability I & II. With 20 years of exercise, bodybuilding, and nutritional experience. We are 1 of 500 that hold a Seal of Excellence that shows compliance in regards to saftey and ethics standards in the united states. -
What is your educational background?
I have spent the last 20 years researching and continuing my education through credable certifying organizations. I have worked with numerous atheletes and fitness competitors that need to get their bodyfat levels down below 5%. -

Most people tell me that we have a unique way of explaining what is really going on with their situation and how they can make small changes that make the biggest difference in their workouts. -
Where do you train your clients? Do you train clients in their own home?
we train In-Home and numerous health facilities around the Dallas Metro PLex. -
Do I need a home gym in order to train at home?
No. Even if your a beginner all you need is a few small hand weights, bands, or a stability ball you can do hundreds of exercises that will help you get in shape. We also have numerous resources that you can buy equipment below retail costs with our distributer agreements. -
Do you provide dietary advice?
Yes. Apex is recognized by the North Carolina Board of Dieticians and approved by the ADA (American Dieticians Association) -
What are your rates?
We will discuss rates when you meet with your first meting with your trainer. Most programs are $200-800 per month. -
Do you provide any guarantees on results?
Yes. If you follow all of our instructions you have no room for error. Our programs follow only what science dictates nessessary to acheive your goals. There has never been a issue other than poeple moving or under Doctor care and cannot continue with thier exercise program. -
What makes you different from other fitness trainers?
we teach you to how to control your environment, lifestyle and food intake, where other programs workout with weights and send you home. This is a sure recipe for disaster.
